Joe Biden met chairman of Chinese company that paid family millions: former Hunter associate

In a recent deposition as part of the House impeachment inquiry, a key Biden family associate, Rob Walker, provided new information regarding Joe Biden’s alleged involvement in foreign business relationships. Walker claimed that in 2017, shortly after Joe Biden left office as vice president, he attended a meeting involving about 10 people connected to CEFC China Energy, including the company’s chairman, Ye Jianming. While Walker previously described the encounter without naming Ye in an FBI interview, he now asserted that Joe Biden appeared at this meeting. Walker’s testimony is part of the ongoing investigation into potential links between Biden and his family’s overseas business ventures. Despite allegations, Walker defended Hunter Biden’s character and insisted that Joe Biden was not involved in any questionable business activities pursued by the family. The deposition also raised questions about the compensation and services provided in exchange for lucrative deals, as Republicans aim to establish possible influence-peddling by the Biden family. Walker’s deposition highlighted financial transactions involving millions of dollars distributed to Hunter, James, and Hallie Biden from foreign sources during and after Joe Biden’s vice presidency. The testimony also delved into the timing of the CEFC relationship, which commenced shortly after Joe Biden left office. The investigation explores the nature of services provided by Hunter Biden and the potential involvement of Joe Biden in these business dealings. The Ukraine and Romania ventures, where money was funneled to the Biden family, were specifically scrutinized. Despite ongoing inquiries, no substantial evidence has emerged to prove any illegal or unethical conduct by Joe Biden in connection with his family’s business activities.
