Nikola is expanding its market presence beyond California and Canada, with promising traction seen in new markets like New York. The company’s FCEVs have collectively traveled over 830,000 miles, surpassing fuel efficiency targets.
On the energy front, Nikola’s HYLA team is advancing its Hydrogen Highway Plan, aiming to establish hydrogen refueling stations across strategic locations. In the battery-electric truck segment, Nikola completed the first delivery of a remediated BEV in Q1. The company plans to prioritize returning BEVs to customers and dealers by year-end 2024. Furthermore, Nikola has enhanced the BEV 2.0 to offer seamless over-the-air upgrades and advanced driver assistance systems, aligning with fleet users’ evolving needs.
