The latest Assassin’s Creed game is soon hitting iPhones and iPads. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, set in ninth-century Baghdad, will launch on June 6 for the iPhone 15 Pro series and iPads equipped with an M-series chip.

Ubisoft promises a console-like experience on mobile, complete with adapted touchscreen controls. Additionally, it will support MFi hardware controllers like the Backbone One and Razer Kishi Ultra, as confirmed by Ubisoft to IGN.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage supports cross-progression and cross-save through Ubisoft Connect, ensuring continuity across platforms. Originally released in October for PC, PS5/4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, the mobile version offers a chance to continue the adventure on the go.

Engadget’s Kris Holt praises Assassin’s Creed Mirage for returning to the series’ roots, emphasizing stealth and action over RPG elements. The game will be free to download, with a 90-minute free trial, followed by a $50 in-app purchase to continue playing.

In other news, Delta, the Nintendo emulator recently launched on the App Store for iPhone, is now getting an iPad-optimized version. Developer Riley Testut shared plans for the iPad release, which is nearing completion and available for Patreon subscribers via AltStore.

Testut also teased improvements for Delta, including device-to-device multiplayer and an upcoming SEGA Genesis emulator. Meanwhile, Apple’s upcoming “Let Loose” iPad event is anticipated to unveil an OLED iPad Pro possibly powered by the next-gen M4 chip, signaling Apple’s deeper foray into AI. Updates to the iPad Air and accessories like the Apple Pencil with haptic feedback are also expected.
