Attention Atlanta baseball fans! If you’re a Comcast Xfinity subscriber hoping to catch the Atlanta Braves in action, unfortunately, you’re out of luck starting today. Bally Sports Regional Networks, the go-to platform for most Braves games, is no longer accessible for Xfinity customers due to unresolved negotiations between the two companies.
This blackout specifically affects Xfinity users in Georgia. If you try to tune into Bally’s channels, all you’ll get is a message about Bally Sports’ bankruptcy proceedings.
And talk about bad timing! The blackout comes right before a crucial series finale against the Mariners, scheduled for 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves really need a win to avoid a sweep.
Looking ahead, the Braves have a big three-game series against the Dodgers starting Friday through Sunday, but guess what? Those games will also be on Bally Sports.
The only silver lining is that Comcast is offering refunds to affected customers.
But don’t despair completely! If you’re a Braves fan and desperate to catch the games, you still have options. Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Southeast are available on DirecTV STREAM and FUBO live streaming services. Plus, you can stream the games on BallySports.com and the Bally Sports app if you sign in with your TV provider username and password. Check out the Braves website for more details.
