In east London, a tragic incident unfolded around 7 a.m. where a car crashed into a house in the Thurlow Gardens area of Hainault. The Metropolitan Police were swiftly notified about a “serious incident” involving the vehicle collision and reports of multiple stabbings. According to authorities, a 14-year-old boy tragically lost his life in what appears to be an unprovoked attack.
The assailant, who has been arrested, reportedly wielded a sword and targeted members of the public along with two police officers. Although the police have not disclosed any potential motives behind the attack, they have reassured the public that terrorism is not suspected.
