Planning for an upcoming cruise with Bare Necessities and Norwegian Cruise Line? Pack light — very light.
In February 2025, Bare Necessities, the specialist in nudist cruises, is teaming up with Norwegian Cruise Line to offer an 11-day voyage from Miami to the Caribbean aboard the Norwegian Pearl. With stops at enchanting destinations like The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and St. Maarten, “The Big Nude Boat” promises a truly unique experience for its passengers.
As the official website for Bare Necessities states, “It’s our pleasure to provide you with the luxury of deciding what NOT to wear.” This cruise company has organized over 75 full-ship nude cruises in the past.
Cabin prices, based on double occupancy, range from around $2,000 to $33,155 for a luxurious three-bedroom villa. The Norwegian Pearl can accommodate up to 2,300 passengers.
Onboard, guests can enjoy specialty restaurants, including a buffet area for nude outdoor dining, along with a variety of amenities tailored to suit everyone’s preferences for bare cruising.
However, there are some rules to follow. While clothing is optional in many areas, guests must wear clothes in the dining rooms. Additionally, it’s required to place a towel down before sitting in certain areas while unclothed.
Certain behaviors are prohibited, such as inappropriate touching and being nude in front of other ships in port. The cruise line also prohibits lingerie, fetish wear, and unauthorized photography or videography of other passengers.
The “11-Day adventure back to Bare-adise” is set to depart from Miami on Feb. 3 and return on Feb. 14. Bare Necessities aims to provide a relaxing and entertaining vacation experience in a natural, non-judgmental environment where guests can appreciate the beauty of the human form in its natural state.
