Claudia Oshry recently opened up about her experience with hair loss while using Ozempic to manage her weight. The creator of “The Girl With No Job” shared details during an Instagram Q&A session with fans, revealing that her once lush locks began shedding due to the medication.
Responding to a follower’s question about whether Ozempic caused her hair to thin, the 29-year-old posted a photo showcasing her current shiny strands and explained in the caption that it wasn’t thinning but rather excessive shedding, which she found to be even worse.
It took Oshry six to nine months for her hair to return to normal. She also shared her regimen for promoting hair regrowth, which included daily treatments with Vegamour hair serum, a prescription for Minoxidil, and the women’s hair growth supplement Nutrafol, along with prenatal vitamins. Additionally, she maintained her hair health with quarterly haircuts.
Oshry began using Ozempic in September 2022 and successfully lost over 70 pounds. Despite her weight loss success, she admitted feeling some shame about her starting point, revealing her vulnerability in an August 2023 episode of “The Toast.”
After reaching a healthier lifestyle, Oshry decided to stop taking Ozempic. Reflecting on her journey during a recent visit to Page Six’s video studio, she expressed feeling good and emphasized her newfound balance in life. She’s been focusing on training for a 5K race while maintaining her overall well-being.
