South Carolina Pastor’s Wife Case: Cause of Death Revealed for Mica Miller

The recent passing of Mica Miller, the wife of a pastor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has been clarified by the medical examiner, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding her tragic death.

Dr. Richard Johnson, the Robeson County Medical Examiner, disclosed that Miller’s cause of death was determined to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, ABC 15 initially reported. Dr. Johnson emphasized that the wound’s characteristics align with a self-inflicted origin and clarified that it did not occur at the back of her head, as previously speculated.

Acknowledging the medical examiner’s findings, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office affirmed the conclusions. Sheriff Burnis Wilkins has arranged a meeting with Miller’s family and plans to provide additional detailed information supporting the medical examiner’s report the following evening.

Sheriff Wilkins urged the public to await the comprehensive timeline of events before forming conclusions or making assumptions.

Miller’s husband, John-Paul, who serves as a pastor, informed his congregation about his wife’s struggle with mental health issues preceding her death, prior to the official report from the medical examiner’s office.

Recent revelations from the Horry County Sheriff’s Office unveiled incidents of harassment leading up to Miller’s tragic demise, indicating that she had expressed fear for her safety. According to ABC 15, police reports documented instances where Miller reported feeling surveilled and discovered dangerous objects, such as razor blades, near her vehicle.

Despite these reports, law enforcement authorities stated that there wasn’t adequate evidence to attribute these incidents to a specific suspect.

In light of these troubling events, Miller’s family and friends have taken to social media, rallying under the hashtag “JusticeforMica,” urging for transparency and justice in her memory.

Meanwhile, the Solid Rock Church, where John-Paul Miller served as a pastor, announced his temporary release from ministerial duties for a period of healing and guidance, in accordance with the church’s protocols. Additionally, the church’s website has been taken offline.

As the investigation continues and the community grapples with the loss, Miller’s loved ones emphasize her character and the need to dispel misinformation surrounding her tragic passing.
