ABC News got a hold of the delegate list for the Republican National Convention in Florida and found out that Barron Trump, the youngest of former President Donald Trump’s children, was picked as one of the at-large delegates. A Trump campaign official shared with ABC that Barron is pretty into the whole political scene.
“He’s definitely on the delegation list, and Barron’s really keen on getting involved in our country’s political journey,” said the campaign official.
Alongside Barron, other Trump family members who’ve been active in Trump’s campaigns will also be at-large delegates. That includes his older sons, Eric and Don Jr., as well as Don Jr.’s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany.
Eric Trump will be leading the delegation, and Guilfoyle will be part of the Platform Committee.
The list doesn’t stop there; it also features folks close to the former president who’ll be serving as delegates, like Pam Bondi, Sergio Gor, Steve Witkoff, and Ike Perlmutter.
Evan Power, the Florida GOP Chair, shared his excitement about the team they’ve assembled for the convention: “We’ve got an awesome bunch of grassroots leaders, elected officials, and Trump family members all working together for the Florida delegation at the 2024 Republican National Convention. We’re pumped for a fantastic convention in Milwaukee, and even more excited as we keep building up Florida for success. You can bet on it, we’re going for a big win come November!”
NBC was the first to break the news about Barron Trump’s delegate selection.
