During Tom Brady’s roast, Ben Affleck’s unexpected rant left many scratching their heads. The actor used nearly six minutes to criticize the quarterback’s fans instead of poking fun at Brady himself during Netflix’s recent special.

Affleck delved into the negative comments athletes like Brady receive online, directing his ire at those who hide behind keyboards to spread negativity. “Fans have your back,” Affleck asserted. “You guys out there talking s—, all right, behind your f—ing keyboard, that doesn’t make you a fan. That makes you a b—-.”
Critics on social media didn’t hold back, labeling Affleck’s performance as “the worst of the night.”

Brady himself wasn’t spared from the roast, with host Kevin Hart joking about his split from supermodel Gisele Bundchen. “You f—ed your coach, but let me tell you something, people, that’s what you do to maintain your happiness. You sometimes got to f— your coach. You who, who else f—ed their coach? Gisele. She f—ed that karate man,” Hart quipped.
The roast didn’t stop there, with comedian Nikki Glaser adding her own jab: “You had seven rings, well eight after Gisele gave hers back.”
