Canadian Authorities Charge Three Individuals in Connection with Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s Killing
In a significant development, Canadian authorities have formally identified and charged three individuals linked to the tragic killing of pro-Khalistan figure Hardeep Singh Nijjar on June 18, 2023, in Surrey, British Columbia.

All three suspects, Karan Brar (22), Kamalpreet Singh (22), and Karanpreet Singh (28), were apprehended in and around Edmonton, the capital of the province of British Columbia. They now face charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, as announced by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) in a release on Friday.

Despite these arrests, investigations are ongoing to identify any additional individuals involved in the heinous crime and to establish potential links to India. Addressing reporters during a press conference in Surrey, Commander of the Federal Policing Program in the Pacific Region, Assistant Commissioner David Teboul, emphasized the continuation of separate investigations, including exploring connections to the Government of India.
