On Tuesday, University Leaders to Hold Virtual Town Hall to Discuss Protests, Arrests

Join University of Virginia President Jim Ryan, UVA Police Chief Tim Longo, and other senior leaders for an online town hall this Tuesday afternoon. They’ll provide updates and address questions regarding Saturday’s protest near the UVA Chapel, which prompted police to declare an unlawful assembly and make arrests.

The town hall will be streamed live starting at 12:15 p.m. If you’d like to ask a question, registration is required. A separate link will be emailed to you for registration. The registration link can accommodate up to 3,000 participants, and there’s no limit to the number of viewers for the livestream.

Additionally, Provost Ian Baucom, Chief Operating Officer Jennifer “J.J.” Wagner Davis, and Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer Kenyon Bonner are scheduled to join the town hall.
