Once again, Samsung starts rolling out One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy S22 series.

Earlier this month, Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series but had to halt the rollout due to boot issues. Initially, the update was only available in South Korea, but it helped identify the problem and find a solution.

Less than a week after pausing the update, Samsung resumed the rollout of One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S22. A new firmware version, weighing 3.2GB, is now downloadable in South Korea.

It’s uncertain when this update will reach other countries. However, if Samsung doesn’t pull it again shortly, we can expect the update to gradually expand to additional regions.

It’s important to note that the One UI 6.1 update does not include the May 2024 security patch. Therefore, another update will be rolled out to the Galaxy S22 series in the coming weeks to address this.
