Taylor Swift’s collaboration with Post Malone, “Fortnight,” retains its position at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a second consecutive week, a fitting feat given its title.
In the previous week, Swift made history by monopolizing the Hot 100’s top 14 spots with tracks from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, released under Republic Records. The album also secures its second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Within the second week of charting, Swift boasts three songs in the Hot 100’s top 10: “Fortnight” at No. 1, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” at No. 9, and “Down Bad” at No. 10.
Furthermore, three artists achieve their first-ever top five appearances on the Hot 100: Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” debuts at No. 2; Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” leaps from 27 to 3 after initially charting at No. 36 two weeks earlier; and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” climbs from 22 to 4, marking her inaugural top 10 hit.
The Hot 100 rankings consider various factors including U.S. streaming (official audio and video), radio airplay, and sales data. Notably, digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer sites are excluded from these calculations.

Below is an overview of the latest top 10 songs on the Hot 100:
“Fortnight” – 2 weeks at No. 1
“Fortnight” maintains its reign atop the Hot 100 for a second week. The song garnered 38.2 million official streams (a 50% decrease), 33.3 million radio airplay audience impressions (a 7% increase), and sold 6,000 copies (a 68% decrease) in the U.S. from April 26 to May 2.
The single slips to No. 2 on the Streaming Songs chart and No. 4 on Digital Song Sales, after debuting at No. 1 on both charts, and climbs from 14 to 11 on Radio Songs.
(The two-week dominance of “Fortnight” follows the similarly fitting one-week reign of Barenaked Ladies’ 1998 hit, “One Week.”)
