Rachel Leviss didn’t hold back on her podcast, labeling her ex, Tom Sandoval, as an ‘a**hole’ for his treatment of both his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix and herself. The former Vanderpump Rules star shared insights from her therapy sessions following her turbulent relationship with Sandoval, revealing feelings of manipulation and betrayal.
During her podcast episode on Tuesday, aired on iHeartRadio’s Rachel Goes Rogue, Leviss discussed her time in a mental health treatment facility post-breakup with Sandoval. She recounted feeling manipulated by him during a vulnerable period following her split from James Kennedy, and also feeling betrayed when he filmed her without consent.
In addition, Leviss revealed her decision to take a year-long break from dating and addressed criticism about her demeanor during the intense season 10 reunion. When discussing Sandoval’s behavior towards Madix and his alleged shifting of blame for his infidelity, Leviss condemned his actions as ‘messed up’ and manipulative.
She criticized Sandoval for using Madix’s mental health against her and questioned his maturity in handling their breakup. Leviss reflected on her therapy sessions, realizing how Sandoval had manipulated her and breached her trust, particularly through unauthorized filming.
Leviss attributed her vulnerability during their affair to the aftermath of her previous relationship and expressed frustration at Sandoval’s lack of support. She highlighted how he seemed to be the only person supporting her at the time, which contributed to his influence over her.
It’s worth noting that Leviss won’t be returning for the upcoming 11th season of Vanderpump Rules, set to premiere on January 30, which will explore the aftermath of the cast’s scandalous situations.
