Returning alongside the late Kevin Conroy’s Batman, Mark Hamill will voice the Joker in MultiVersus.

Mark Hamill is making a triumphant return as the voice of the Joker in MultiVersus, joining the ranks of the highly anticipated platform fighter game developed by Warner Bros. and Player First Games. This exciting announcement adds another layer of excitement to the already impressive lineup of characters set to feature in the game upon its launch later this month.

The Joker’s appearance in MultiVersus is certain to grab the attention of fans, given his status as one of the most iconic characters in pop culture. Known for his sinister charm and unpredictable nature, the Joker brings a unique dynamic to any crossover project he’s a part of.

In the debut trailer, the Joker is depicted engaging in battle alongside other Warner Bros. icons like Batman, Bugs Bunny, Shaggy, and Arya Stark. Armed with a crowbar, cards, and explosives, the Joker promises to be a formidable opponent capable of taking down even the most formidable adversaries.

Mark Hamill’s portrayal of the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series is widely regarded as one of the best interpretations of the character. His return to voice the Joker in MultiVersus is especially significant, considering that his co-star, the late Kevin Conroy, provides the voice for Batman in the game.

Fans of Batman: The Animated Series will undoubtedly appreciate the reunion of Hamill and Conroy, whose performances as the Joker and Batman, respectively, have left an indelible mark on popular culture since the ’90s. While Conroy’s passing in 2022 initially cast doubt on future collaborations, MultiVersus offers a poignant opportunity for fans to witness the iconic duo in action once more.

In addition to MultiVersus, fans can look forward to seeing Conroy and Hamill reprise their roles in the upcoming DC animated movie, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part 3, set to release on July 16, 2024.

MultiVersus is scheduled to launch for various platforms, including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, on May 28, with full cross-play and cross-platform support. As anticipation builds for the game’s release, fans can expect more updates and insights into the inclusion of the Joker in this star-studded fighting game.
