Travis Kelce is expanding his presence in Hollywood by snagging a role in Ryan Murphy’s FX horror series, “Grotesquerie.” The confirmation came from none other than “Grotesquerie” star Niecy Nash-Betts, who shared the news in an Instagram video on Tuesday. While details about the show are still scarce, Nash-Betts, along with Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville, are already confirmed as cast members.
Kelce’s role in the series has yet to be disclosed. Back in February, Murphy teased the new series with a cryptic Instagram post featuring Nash-Betts’ voice expressing distress over a crime scene.
Kelce, known for his standout performances with the Kansas City Chiefs and his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift, has been making waves in entertainment beyond the football field. Alongside his popular podcast “New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce,” Kelce took on hosting duties for “Saturday Night Live” in March 2023, sharing sketches with his brother Jason. He also made a cameo appearance on SNL in an episode from October 2023.
April brought another exciting announcement as Kelce was confirmed as the host of the “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” revival, set to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Beyond his on-screen ventures, Kelce is delving into production with a documentary titled “King Pleasure,” centered around artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Adding to his repertoire, Kelce recently launched his own music festival, “Kelce Jam,” which kicked off on April 28 in Kansas City, featuring performances by Machine Gun Kelly and Rick Ross.
