Tonight, WWE hosted a press event in Perth, Australia, to build anticipation for the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event set to take place on Saturday morning (Feb. 24).
As of now, the Elimination Chamber card appears a bit light, featuring only four confirmed matches. However, WWE made a new match announcement during the press event. This addition will see the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) defend their WWE women’s tag team championship against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. For Hartwell, who hails from Australia, this news brings particular excitement.
Interestingly, the newly announced match is slated for the kickoff show, preceding the main card. For viewers on the east coast of the United States, tuning in means catching the pre-show at 4 am ET, right after Friday night’s episode of SmackDown. The main card is scheduled to follow at 5 am ET.
