As she accuses him of sexual harassment, Brandi Glanville’s lawyers call for Andy Cohen’s firing.

Attorneys representing former “Real Housewives” star Brandi Glanville have strongly criticized Andy Cohen, the executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise, and called for his removal from Bravo. Glanville’s legal team, consisting of Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos, issued a statement condemning Cohen’s actions and questioning why he is still employed by the NBC-owned network.

In their statement, Freedman and Geragos accused Cohen of engaging in sexual harassment towards Glanville in 2022. They highlighted a video allegedly sent by Cohen to Glanville, where he appeared visibly intoxicated and made inappropriate remarks about intending to have sexual relations with another Bravo star while suggesting that Glanville watch via Facetime. The attorneys emphasized that such behavior constitutes sexual harassment and criticized NBCUniversal for not taking appropriate action against Cohen.

Cohen had previously issued an apology on social media, stating that the video was meant as a joke and that Glanville was aware of the humor. However, Glanville’s lawyers dismissed this apology as “fake” and reiterated their stance that Cohen’s behavior was unacceptable.

The attorneys also drew parallels between Cohen’s actions and previous controversies within NBCUniversal, referencing the cover-up scandal involving former NBC News anchor Matt Lauer. They urged NBCUniversal to take decisive action and hold Cohen accountable for his conduct.

Glanville’s legal team’s statement comes amidst a lawsuit filed by former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo against Bravo and its affiliates, alleging sexual misconduct involving Glanville during filming of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Glanville has denied any wrongdoing in this matter.

The call for Cohen’s removal adds another layer of controversy to the ongoing issues surrounding the Real Housewives franchise and its production practices. It remains to be seen how NBCUniversal will respond to these allegations and whether any further action will be taken against Cohen.
