Industry Star Marisa Abela Portrays Amy Winehouse’s Tragic Downfall in Full Trailer: Back to Black

Actress Marisa Abela is set to take on the role of the late Amy Winehouse in the upcoming biopic “Back to Black,” which promises to offer an intimate portrayal of the iconic singer’s tumultuous life and career.

Focus Features recently unveiled a new full trailer for the highly anticipated film, providing audiences with a deeper insight into Winehouse’s journey from her humble beginnings in Camden to her rise to global fame with the release of her groundbreaking album “Back to Black.”

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson, known for her work on “Fifty Shades of Grey,” and written by screenwriter Matt Greenhalgh, who previously collaborated with Taylor-Johnson on “Nowhere Boy,” the biopic aims to explore the various layers of Winehouse’s persona through her own perspective and the lens of her deeply personal lyrics.
