Kanye West seemingly claims venues won’t book him after his antisemitic rants, compares himself to Elvis Presley

Kanye West seems to be facing obstacles in arranging venues for his upcoming concerts, suggesting potential financial repercussions stemming from his controversial statements.

In a video posted on Instagram, later deleted, the iconic rapper revealed his struggles in securing arenas for his shows, implying that his past remarks may be contributing to the challenges he’s facing.

In the video, West, aged 46, mentioned difficulties in securing bookings and hinted at the reasons behind them, although he stopped short of providing explicit details. He also drew comparisons to Elvis Presley’s experiences, expressing frustration over not being able to perform for a year.

However, West later shared some positive news, announcing that he had managed to book the United Center in Chicago for his tour. Despite this breakthrough, he indicated a need for assistance in securing additional venues, suggesting potential resistance due to his controversial comments.

Following this announcement, West posted screenshots of text messages from his booking manager, indicating a surge in inquiries from venues worldwide. It appears that the rapper is exploring opportunities in various locations, including Australia, China, and Egypt, among others.

West’s recent challenges come amid a series of headline-making controversial remarks, including antisemitic comments and criticisms of other celebrities. Despite facing setbacks, West remains determined to continue his music career, seeking support from his fan base and industry contacts to overcome obstacles in booking venues for his performances.
