In Portland, Oregon, the police arrested six people in a recent operation targeting crime in the north part of the city, according to a report from KPTV. Officers from the Neighborhood Response Teams carried out the mission to address ongoing issues with crime, public disturbances, and drug trafficking in the Jantzen Beach and Delta Park areas. These areas have seen a high level of criminal activity and frequent calls for police service.
During the operation, police arrested six individuals, executed seven warrants, stopped 10 people, recovered two stolen vehicles, and seized 45 grams of methamphetamine.
The names of those arrested were not released by the police. Authorities say they plan to conduct similar operations in other parts of Portland to tackle crime and improve public safety.
