The Atlanta Dream made some major moves, announcing the signing of former WNBA MVP Tina Charles and the acquisition of guard Jordin Canada in a trade.

Tina Charles, a seasoned forward and former top draft pick from UConn in 2010, brings extensive experience and accolades to the Dream. With two NCAA titles and a WNBA MVP award, Charles is known for her scoring ability and rebounding prowess. Dream coach Tanisha Wright expressed confidence in Charles’s impact, highlighting her competitiveness and winning mentality.

Guard Jordin Canada joins the Dream in a sign-and-trade deal with the Los Angeles Sparks, adding defensive skill and depth to the roster. Coming off a standout season with career-best stats, Canada’s presence strengthens the team’s backcourt.
